Your key tasks and responsibilities are:
- Management of the team’s daily workload, review of their work and taking final responsibility for all accounting and legal issues for client companies;
- Responsible for all group accounting matters for client companies, preparation and verification of investor reporting, consolidated accounts and annual accounts;
- Maintaining and developing a good network of internationally established clients;
- Use commercial and creative skills to (assist in) develop new products, services and client contacts
- Maintain contacts with other departments of international offices;
- Report to the LOB Manager;
- Communication with and guidance of clients, (tax) advisors, lawyers, notaries, other professionals, and government institutions.
The following will be highly regarded Qualifications and Experience:
- Highly educated in accounting or finance, or a professional accounting qualification;
- At least five years experience in an accounting position gained within an international company/corporate service providers/audit or accounting firm;
- Working experience within capital markets area, specifically in securitization;
- Proven accounting capabilities;
- Knowledge of IFRS, Dutch and US GAAP;
- Able to set priorities, be flexible and highly accurate;
- A commercial, dynamic attitude with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team and autonomously;
- Excellent communication skills;
- proven leadership skills in managing a team of professionals and a sound track record of coaching and developing staff;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work is essential;
- Fluency in English is essential.
