Avanser was founded by Servaas Weijers. Servaas has gained sizeable recruitment/executive search experience from posts at an international, UK-based search company, as well as a Dutch executive search firm. He studied international business at Tilburg University, graduating with a Master’s of Science.

In his previous positions Servaas acquired a good deal of recruitment experience in financial services, having successfully recruited for: Aegon Asset Management, Abn Amro, Rabobank International, NN Investment Partners, MN-Services, ING, Brown Brothers Harriman (Luxembourg), TMF, Citco and many others.

In addition, he has also recruited for several international commerce and industry parties including Genzyme, Groupe SEB, Liberty Global, Ashland, Vattenfall, FrieslandCampina, AEG Power Solutions, Forbo Flooring,  and more.

In addition, Servaas also has experience as a senior contract talent acquisition consultant at companies like: Essent, Vodafone, Jacobs Douwe Egberts, Loyalty One, Endologix, CBS Studios International, Bolton Group (Collistar), APG, NS, et cetera.
